Competitive Base Salary up to $160K (DOE) + Bonus Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, STD/LTD, Matching 401k, PTO Hybrid-remote Flexibility - 2 days onsite a week Monthly stipend for cellphone, CLE, travel, association membership, ARDC, etc Mid-sized, established firm with opportunity for rapid business development and client sharingJob Details Defend and manage a varied caseload of general liability matters including, but not limited to, premises liability, auto and transportation, products liability, construction accidents/defects, subrogation, false arrest & imprisonment, and food contamination. Handle all phases of litigation from inception through resolution—pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations/arbitrations, and trial. Provide strategic advice to clients and insurance carriers regarding case evaluation, exposure, and resolution strategies. Work closely with partners and clients to achieve efficient and cost-effective results.Qualifications: J.D. and active Illinois Bar license (or pending admission) Experience in general liability, insurance defense, or a related area (auto, premises, construction, or product liability preferred) Strong litigation and client communication skillsInterested in hearing more?
