Primary Function / Position Summary:


Plural* located in Miami, FL, is seeking a motivated, versatile and detail-oriented Post Producer. We are looking for someone with the talent and the personality to integrate quickly and seamlessly with our post team; someone who enjoys creatively working and collaborating directly with clients. The ideal candidate should be familiar with the standard post production workflow and needs to be comfortable working in a fast paced and sometimes high-pressured environment. They will be managing and/or assisting senior post producers with projects from beginning-to-end in our multi-room/multi-function post production studio.

Must be currently involved or familiar with at least 3 of the following crafts: Creative Offline Editorial, Audio Production, Motion Graphics/VFX, Color and Finishing. (Experience with a wide range of Post Production projects and Creative Editorial styles a plus).

In addition, some intermediate level experience and adept skillset for quickly learning a new production management and/or book keeping software is a must (such as ActualizeIt).

The Post Producer needs to have knowledge or experience using industry standard post software such as: Adobe Premiere, AVID, Final Cut, Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Maya, Pro Tools, Resolve, etc. or hands on session experience coordinating post artists who use these tools every day.

 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 


·     Assisting with managing availability and scheduling of all staff and equipment.

·     Scheduling internal meetings.

·     Tracking operator expenses and petty cash requirements for jobs.

·     Tracking operator hours and overtime.

·     Processing operator invoices and payments.

·     Assisting the Producers with bidding, billing and office support.

·     Collaborate with EP’s to ensure strict Workflow conventions are adhered to, while prepping assets for current projects.

·     Liaising with the EP’s to ensure consistently effective management.

·     Issue & confirm operators are completing session sheets daily.

·     Liaising with IT/tech support with a consistent follow through process to ensure that our facility is running on all cylinders: gear and operator issues must be communicated, actioned and resolved.


Qualifications / Specific Skill Requirements:


·     Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience as a producer in a creative agency or production environment (digital, production, broadcast, post).

·     Basic editing knowledge to assist lead editors.

·     Understanding of the post production process & digital workflows including VFX, editing & grading.

·     The candidate must be self-motivated and extremely organized, with a strong attention to detail.
