Duties and Responsibilities:


- Develop and implement payroll tax compliance policies and procedures to ensure the organization remains compliant with all payroll tax laws and regulations

- Oversee and manage payroll tax compliance audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed

- Monitor all payroll tax changes and updates and ensure that the organization is in compliance with new laws or regulations

- Conduct periodic payroll tax compliance training for employees and other stakeholders to ensure they understand payroll tax regulations and requirements

- Develop and maintain relationships with tax authorities, including federal, state, and local tax agencies

- Ensure that all payroll tax filings and payments are made accurately and on time

- Review and approve all payroll tax returns and reports for accuracy and completeness

- Monitor payroll tax compliance risks and take corrective action as needed

- Prepare and present reports to senior management on payroll tax compliance status and issues


Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in payroll tax compliance

- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
