Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL database solutions, including tables, views, stored procedures, and functions
  • Write efficient, optimized, and well-documented SQL code to support various applications and business requirements
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for generating reports, data extracts, and visualizations
  • Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize queries for improved speed and efficiency
  • Implement indexing strategies, query optimization techniques, and caching mechanisms to enhance database performance
  • Implement and maintain data security measures, including user access controls and data encryption, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an SQL Developer or Database Administrator, with a strong command of SQL and database management systems
  • Familiarity with database design principles, normalization, and indexing
  • Experience with performance optimization, query tuning, and troubleshooting in SQL databases
  • Knowledge of data security best practices and understanding of relevant compliance standards
