Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain complex SQL databases to support business applications and reporting.
  • Develop, test, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database triggers to ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and application developers to support their data needs and ensure seamless integration.
  • Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement tuning solutions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database architecture, design, and processes.
  • Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to import, cleanse, and prepare data from various sources.
  • Conduct data quality assessments and ensure compliance with data governance policies.
  • Support ad hoc data requests, analyses, and reports as needed.


Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as an SQL Developer, with a strong understanding of relational databases and database design.
  • Proficient in writing advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
  • Experience with performance tuning, indexing, and optimization of SQL databases.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL processes and experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Talend).
  • Familiarity with database management systems like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies is a plus.
