Title: Data Scientist

Summary: As a Data Scientist you will transform large datasets into impactful data visualizations that drive decision-making at all business levels. In this role, you will lead analytics efforts, using data to enhance content distribution, audience engagement, and business growth. Responsibilities include data collection, analysis, visualization, and presenting actionable insights to both business and executive teams.
Primary Duties:
- Develop and maintain machine learning models to analyze music consumption, project performance, and market trends.
- Turn complex data into actionable insights for marketing, artist development, and business strategies.
- Track and analyze new artists and songs, sharing findings with senior leadership.
- Stay informed on industry trends and provide insights to guide business decisions.
- Produce reports and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
- Track KPIs related to streaming and audience engagement.
- Use advanced tools like SQL, Python, Tableau, and BigQuery for data processing and visualization.
- Conduct trials to assess marketing strategies.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging analytics trends.
- Collaborate with IT, Marketing, and label teams to integrate analytics across business operations.
Desired Experience:
5-7 years in data analytics, managing large datasets, with experience in AI/ML modeling and advanced analytics tools.
Target Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, ETL, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong knowledge of music industry data, especially streaming platforms.
- Excellent communication, organization, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
