Senior Supply Chain Enterprise Architect

Location: Salisbury, NC


Overview:

Our partner is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Enterprise Architect to lead the design and governance of IT architecture across a diverse supply chain and technology platform network. In this critical role, you will collaborate with business leaders, product owners, and IT teams to drive modernization and transformation across core supply chain systems, including forecasting, replenishment, warehouse management, transportation, reverse logistics, and supply chain control towers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams focused on architecture excellence and high-performance.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level architects to foster development of future IT talent.
  • Drive a culture of innovation and challenge the status quo to improve business outcomes.
  • Develop scalable, commercially viable enterprise architecture solutions aligned with business strategies.
  • Oversee architecture governance, ensuring alignment with industry trends and compliance standards.
  • Define and manage architecture roadmaps across multiple business or technology platforms.
  • Advise senior leadership on IT investments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise goals.
  • Ensure all solutions meet security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
  • Embed a culture of proactive risk management into architectural decisions.
  • Stay updated on emerging technology trends and integrate them into the IT roadmap.
  • Work with vendors to align their innovations with the organization's strategy.
  • Align architectural decisions with financial objectives, managing cost control and minimizing total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • Manage technical debt and contribute to software lifecycle decisions.


Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in IT architecture leadership, strategy, and governance.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with a proven track record in guiding complex IT transformations.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL) are a plus.
  • Experience in providing technical guidance and translating business needs into architectural solutions.
