The firm has a 16.5M+ square foot existing portfolio / development pipeline across 8 major life sciences markets in the US and UK (Boston, Maryland-Washington D.C., New York City, North Carolina, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco Bay Area, and London/Cambridge in the UK).

Position Background:
Longfellow is looking for an energetic, people loving, passionate event planner and tenant communicator -someone who knows how to activate all our amenity spaces in memorable ways that support our tenant engagement strategy and tenant growth goals. Elevate has high expectations on the quality, sophistication and attention to detail reflected in all spaces and events, and values the strong relationships developed between our customers and the Longfellow team.
The candidate for Sr. Associate, Tenant Experience must have a passion for events and the logistics to make them possible. They must also know how to develop strong partnerships (fitness manager, 3rd party vendors, restaurant management, etc.) with internal and external stakeholders to develop programming that engages our customers and aligns with the strategic pillars of Elevate. A high level of attention to detail and accuracy is required for budgeting and managing cost tracking. This role works closely with our property management team and would oversee a day-porter responsible for maintaining the amenity spaces.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute Elevate offering for our Bay area portfolio, sitting in our Redwoody City location
- Support Associate Director with development and management of Elevate budgets and forecasts for the San Francisco region
- Lead, professionally develop, and onboard the San Francisco Elevate team, ensuring members are executing against key Elevate brand priorities and initiatives and growing in their careers
- Assist in the development and maintenance of premiere Elevate marketing collateral, print and digital creative, and event collateral
- Understand the financials of Elevate, including analyzing results, ROI, identifying new opportunities for scaling the program, and making recommendations to management
- Work closely with project team members to define amenity offerings and provide input regarding space design to facilitate Elevate programming
- Build relationships with clients, vendors, and strategic partners
- Keep abreast of news/trends in commercial real estate, hospitality, design, and marketing and understand our competition to inform future growth strategies and expanding Elevate’s reach
- Manage projects with various external vendors/partners to deliver event experiences for assigned client base
- Assist in the strategy and analytical reporting of the Elevate social media platform
- Collaborate with internal departments to develop Elevate presentation materials for investors/clients as needed
- Travel to new and existing markets regularly to participate in events, strategy sessions with team members, and networking/relationship building opportunities that facilitate the growth of Elevate’s strategic plan
- Participate in continuing education and developing leadership skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree;
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Event and/or hospitality management experience
- Experience with or ability to quickly grasp event management software (Eventbrite, Mailchimp, etc.)
- Experience with web hosting software and CMS (i.e. WordPress);
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Excellent leadership and team development skills;
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with strong organizational skills;
- Detail oriented with independent work ethic;
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
