Responsibilities
Join Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP as a Lead Counsel, Contract. You will provide day-to-day support for the Firm's transactional-related needs:

  1. Work with internal clients and colleagues as a strategic business partner and assist in day-to-day operations of the Risk/Legal department.
  2. Provide legal advice and guidance in connection with a variety of transactional matters, including engagement letters, master service agreements, access letters, non-disclosure agreements, vendor agreements, and independent contractor agreements.
  3. Draft, negotiate, and review commercial transactions, contracts, and agreements, providing counsel regarding interpretation of active contracts and handling contractual dispute resolution.
  4. Manage multiple contracts and projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  5. Train new Corporate Counsel on negotiation and drafting issues.
  6. Manage a team of contracting attorneys and contract managers.

Qualifications
Successful candidates will have:

  1. Bachelor's degree required.
  2. JD required.
  3. Three (3)+ years of progressive legal experience required, five (5)+ preferred.
  4. Contracting experience in an in-house legal team or big law is a plus.
  5. Professional services experience highly desired.
  6. Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence and impact change in a matrix environment.
  7. Exceptional communication, client/customer service, presentation, and facilitation skills required.
  8. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship required.

Additional Information
The compensation range for this role is $130,000 to $180,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
