Pay Rate: $41-$43/hr
Shift: Onsite M-F 7am to 3:30pm
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Ensure/provide a safe and healthy environment to our people and to our contractors. Minimize impacts on the Environment (environmental footprint of operations & management of historical pollution). Protect assets and reduce risks of business interruption resulting from fire and natural catastrophes
Here is what you will do:
- Support Site Management in achieving EHS performance Drive the implementation of EHS policy on the field according to the Region/Country-Cluster guidelines and targets, and the improvement of EHS results in the site.
- Advice, help, coach, support operational management in the EHS actions implementation to reach EHS objectives.
- Prepare the local yearly EHS plan consistent strategy and objectives.
- Mobilize and coordinate with others to meet those objectives and deploy the plan. Monitor the right deployment of the plan.
- Ensure EHS Risk Assessment is done & appropriate measures to control risks are defined for the Site.
- Prepare, implement and maintain emergency plans at Site level.
- Make sure activities of sub-contractors are under control with respect to EHS, especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors or operational areas.
- Lead the EHS function in the site Monitor, assist, coach, assess, develop the EHS teams in the site Conduct induction programs for new EHS people in the site.
- Develop Site EHS Management System Develop, deploy and maintain the local procedures and tools applicable to the Site specific for EHS Management System in line with Transport & Country/Cluster EHS Management System Ensure that EHS standards and tools (Zero Deviation Plan (ZDP)
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Business or Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years in an EHS role
- Experience in manufacturing sites or Regional Centers Good knowledge
- Understanding of ISO14001 and ISO45001
- Deep knowledge of local legal requirements.
