Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a broad spectrum of clinical tests across multiple areas, including blood gas, chemistry, coagulation, hematology, and urinalysis.
- Ensure timely and accurate results to support patient care across the healthcare system.
- Utilize advanced instrumentation and technology, contributing to a seamless workflow in our cutting-edge, CAP-Accredited Laboratory.
Skills & Abilities:
- Multitasking Expertise: Effectively handle high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong computer skills to navigate laboratory information systems.
- Customer Service Focus: Deliver exceptional service by providing accurate results that are critical to patient care.
- Troubleshooting Abilities: Quickly and efficiently solve issues related to testing and instrumentation.
Education Requirements:
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BS – MLS).
- Preferred: Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
Certification:
- Required: ASCP Certification (or eligibility to obtain within six months of hire).
Work Schedule:
- Rotating Shifts: Typical shifts rotate, including weekends and holidays.
- On-Call & Night Shift Differential: On-call shifts may be required based on the department’s needs, and a night shift differential is offered to compensate for late or overnight hours.
