We are seeking a driven Junior Project Manager to support the Program Portfolio Manager within the USI Wealth team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to further their project management experience within a fast-paced, strategic environment.


Role Overview:

The Junior Project Manager will play a critical support role in maintaining and organizing project portfolio activities across USI Wealth initiatives. Working closely with the Program Portfolio Manager, you will ensure timely status updates, coordinate portfolio information, track deadlines, and consolidate essential project documentation. This position requires a candidate with prior financial industry experience and a strong foundation in project management tools and processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of portfolio dashboards and reporting views to provide clear insights into project statuses and progress.
  • Coordinate the collection of status updates and information across multiple portfolios, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Develop and manage calendars to track project milestones and deadlines, ensuring teams remain on schedule.
  • Consolidate meeting minutes and track action items to ensure follow-through and accountability across the team.
  • Support the Program Portfolio Manager in coordinating strategic initiatives, ensuring smooth communication and alignment between stakeholders.
  • Create presentations and reports using PowerPoint to communicate project progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation and collaborate with teams via SharePoint and other project management tools.


Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of project management or project coordination experience in an enterprise setting
  • Recent financial industry experience
  • Prior experience supporting portfolios, strategic initiatives, or program management is strongly preferred.
  • Experience creating and implementing new business processes
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software is required.
  • Experience using SharePoint for documentation management and PowerPoint for presentation creation.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities while ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience consolidating information and reporting to leadership.
