What You'll Do

  1. Driving optimization and standardization of Procurement policies, processes, and programs while working closely with business stakeholders to assess, monitor, and mitigate risks associated with third-party suppliers and partners.
  2. Managing day-to-day operational activities of the Procurement Center of Excellence (COE) and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) functions, providing leadership and expertise to business stakeholders and team members.
  3. Leading cross-functional projects and teams to co-create, document, and operationalize a variety of Procurement transformational initiatives.
  4. Train Procurement organization and business stakeholders on Procurement policies, processes, and programs.
  5. COE specific: Manage, co-create, and update Procurement policies, processes, and SOPs, create and maintain enablement playbooks for core functions.
  6. TPRM specific: Facilitate comprehensive third-party risk assessments; identifying potential risks and partnering with adjacent functions on risk mitigation actions.
  7. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of third-party vendors to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities to Teradata.
  8. Implement ongoing monitoring mechanisms to track the performance of third-party vendors throughout the lifecycle of the relationship.
  9. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the status of third-party risk management activities, including identified risks, mitigation strategies, and compliance efforts.
  10. Perform other duties as required.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

  1. Certified professional designations such as Certified Third-Party Risk Professional (CTPRP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  2. Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Business Management. Master’s Degree preferred.
  3. Minimum 8 years working in corporate, Procurement environment.
  4. Minimum 8 years experience in third-party risk management, business continuity, operational risk, operational resilience, or related role.
  5. Minimum 3 years experience leading or managing third-party risk program, business continuity, operational risk, operational resilience, or related role.
  6. Deep procurement and/or business transformation experience.
  7. Strong track record of purpose-driven performance and turning innovation into sustainable business results.
  8. Demonstrated experience in providing thought leadership in developing and influencing business strategy at the C-level with internal, business, and vendor stakeholders.
  9. Effective analytical skills with the ability to identify and evaluate potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  10. Ability to lead and participate in multiple projects simultaneously.
  11. Ability to manage complex projects and provide solutions to business challenges.
  12. Effective communication and presentation skills.
  13. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  14. Ability to work independently with minimal instructions.
  15. Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  16. Experience leading and participating in cross-functional re-engineering or process improvement efforts.
  17. Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other MS Office applications.
