Overview:

Cayuse Shared Services is a dynamic and innovative organization dedicated to providing exceptional services to its clients. As a Senior Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Comprehensive Security Measures: Design, implement, and manage security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect our information systems from cyber threats.
  • Conduct Regular Security Audits and Assessments: Perform regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
  • Monitor and Analyze Security Incidents: Investigate and analyze security incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions, minimizing the impact on our operations.
  • Provide Security Training and Awareness Programs: Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs to employees, ensuring they understand their roles in maintaining the security and integrity of our information systems.
  • Ensure Compliance with Security Standards and Regulations: Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations, maintaining the trust and confidence of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure integrated security measures across the organization, fostering a culture of security and risk management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Security or Related Field: A degree in information security, computer science, or a related field is required, demonstrating a solid foundation in security principles and practices.
  • Minimum of 7 Years of Experience in Information Security: A minimum of 7 years of experience in information security is required, showcasing expertise in security management, risk assessment, and incident response.
  • Relevant Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and expertise in security best practices.
  • Proficient in Information Security Management and Risk Assessment: Strong skills in information security management and risk assessment are essential, enabling you to develop and implement effective security measures.
  • Current Top Secret Security Clearance: A current Top Secret security clearance is required, with the ability to obtain SCI access as needed, ensuring access to classified information and sensitive resources.
  • Ability to Pass a Background Check: The ability to pass a background check is essential, ensuring the integrity and trustworthiness of our team members.
