Greetings


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within a structured PMO environment. This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving results. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required standards of quality.

Location: Irving TX (hybrid)


Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution:
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Manage project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
  • Implement and maintain project management processes and documentation in line with PMO standards.
  • Team Leadership & Communication:
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including business sponsors, technical teams, and vendors.
  • PMO Collaboration:
  • Actively participate in PMO activities, including process improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of PMO standards, templates, and tools.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project managers.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to improve project management practices and processes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices within the PMO.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging project management methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 12+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a PMO environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • Experience managing projects in a [insert relevant industry or domain] environment.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Certifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM) a plus.
