Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Land Project Manager to join our team at TRC Companies. As a key member of our land management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of land acquisition and management strategies for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement land acquisition and management plans for clients
  • Manage a portfolio of land projects, including regulatory planning, routing, survey permission/coordination, title, acquisition, eminent domain, construction, reclamation, and project closeout
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Participate in regular project controls meetings and report on profitability
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 7-10 years of related experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in senior management
  • Experience writing and responding to proposal requests, including creating project budgets and land acquisition budgets
  • Experience in linear project management, including pipeline and electric transmission line projects
  • Strong leadership, team building, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate or better skills in Microsoft Office and land management database applications
  • Experience developing and mentoring a team with a focus on succession planning
