Mercer Island, United States Energy Jobline Full time

Job Description

AWS Applications and Higher Level Abstractions (Apps) provides horizontal and industry vertical applications for business users with the same on-demand scalability, reliability, pay-as-you-go pricing, and machine learning expertise that drive AWS services. The AWS Applications group includes services such as Amazon Connect (a cost-effective cloud contact center), our End User Computing (including Amazon Workspaces, AppStream, etc.), Marketing Tech (Amazon Pinpoint), and Autonomous Checkout and Biometric Services (Just Walk Out, Amazon One) for retail, sports, travel, and other verticals.

Amazon Connect is an easy-to-use cloud contact center service that helps companies of any size deliver superior customer engagement at lower cost. Amazon Connect is a publicly available AWS service that was created by leveraging the ten years of development that went into building the tools Amazon itself uses to provide award-winning customer service at massive scale. With Amazon Connect, you can create your own cloud-based contact center and be taking calls in minutes. Amazon Connect leverages the power of Artificial Intelligence and the large ecosystem of AWS services such as Amazon Lex, Amazon Polly, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, and Amazon Kinesis to provide a frustration-free, extensible, and natural customer experience.

We are looking for a passionate, talented, and experienced Product Management leader to join us to lead the strategy and expansion of Amazon Connect’s communications services. The position is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing business and help shape the technology and product as we grow. You will play a crucial role in developing the next of AWS application services and have the opportunity to design and deliver high-scale, resilient systems while maintaining a constant customer focus.

As Senior Product Management you will drive strategic initiatives from conception through completion focused on Connect analytics reporting and visualization. You will work cross-functionally across teams to solve challenging problems using the latest technologies. You will make data-driven, customer-obsessed decisions and work with leadership across AWS to prioritize your programs.

This Team Is a Great Fit For You If

  • You enjoy working with a fun team that prides itself on a great work environment with an inclusive group of people that are working together towards a common goal.
  • You are sensitive to customer needs and interested in working on a service that will be used, directly and indirectly, by millions of customers and has a meaningful impact on their functions and interactions.
  • You’d like to be directly responsible for solving real customer problems.
  • You are a passionate learner and are motivated to take on new challenges.
  • You are deeply passionate about reporting, dashboarding, and user experiences.

Here at AWS, we embrace our culture of diversity and inclusion. We have ten employee-led affinity groups, reaching 40,000 employees in over 190 chapters globally. We have innovative benefit offerings and host annual and ongoing learning experiences, including our Conversations on and AmazeCon conferences.

About The Team

Amazon values diverse experiences. Even if you do not meet all of the qualifications and skills listed in the job description, we encourage candidates to apply. If your career is just starting, hasn’t followed a traditional path, or includes alternative experiences, don’t let it stop you from applying.

Why AWS: Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform.
