A successful Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. Our ideal recruiter holds an academic HR background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
  2. Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  3. Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  4. Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/newspapers/colleges, etc.
  5. Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
  6. Screen candidates' resumes and job applications
  7. Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  8. Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
  9. Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
  10. Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
  11. Function as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  12. Promote the company’s reputation as a “best place to work”

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or related field
  2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a recruiting role
  3. Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 programs (including but not limited to Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams)
  4. Ability to communicate effectively with team members
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system
  6. Maintain social media job postings
  7. Solid ability to conduct various types of interviews
  8. Proven work experience as a recruiter
  9. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
