We are partnering with a leader in electrical and power solutions known for its work on federal properties and large-scale infrastructure projects. Our client is seeking a experienced Federal Electrical Superintendent.

About the Job


Electrical Superintendent

Location: Tampa, Florida

Position: Permanent


In this role, you’ll manage the daily operations on-site, ensuring safety compliance, quality standards, and timely equipment and material availability. Responsibilities include coordinating with inspection authorities to secure approvals, maintaining site order, and providing leadership to the on-site construction team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the on-site construction team, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Coordinate and oversee all on-site work, including scheduling manpower and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management team and subcontractors to maintain project schedules.
  • Attend regular progress meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and maintain daily communications with crew foremen.
  • Order and manage materials and equipment on-site.
  • Monitor and enforce on-site safety, cleanliness, and orderliness.
  • Maintain site records, including daily field reports, field orders, and RFIs.
  • Interface with inspection authorities to secure necessary approvals.


Required Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience in construction/electrical projects.
  • Proficiency with Medium Voltage systems.
  • Knowledge of USACE and other Department of Defense (DOD) construction standards.
  • Experience with commercial construction.
  • Previous experience working on Federal properties is mandatory.


Certificates, Licenses, and Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen; background screening required.
  • Standard Driver’s License.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Outreach Training.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Outreach Training (preferred).
