Key Responsibilities

  • Engineering Strategy Leader: Develop and execute a strategic engineering plan that aligns with our company’s goals and drives innovation. Create a roadmap to keep our products at the cutting edge of technology and market trends.
  • Team Builder and Mentor: Lead and mentor a diverse group of engineers, cultivating a collaborative and innovative environment. Shape our engineering culture to empower teams to deliver their best work.
  • Product Development Overlord: Oversee the entire product development process, ensuring timely, budget-conscious delivery of high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

  • Quality and Performance Guardian: Ensure all engineering outputs adhere to the highest standards of quality and performance. Maintain the reliability, security, and scalability of our technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in software engineering, systems architecture, and product development. Comfortable discussing code with developers and setting strategic goals with executives.
  • Leadership Excellence: Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams with a track record of delivering high-quality products on time and within budget. Inspire confidence and drive results.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to develop long-term strategies that align with business objectives. Think several steps ahead to ensure engineering efforts support company growth.
  • Process Optimization: Strong knowledge of engineering processes, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices. Skilled in creating and refining processes to maximize efficiency and quality.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ensure clear understanding across all levels.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience with a proven track record of engineering leadership is also valued. Certifications in Agile, DevOps, or cloud architecture are a plus.

Experience Requirements

  • 10+ years in software engineering or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role such as Director of Engineering, VP of Engineering, or CTO. Proven experience leading teams that have delivered successful, scalable products.
  • Experience scaling engineering teams and processes in high-growth environments, particularly in industries like SaaS, fintech, or healthtech.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, microservices architecture, and modern development frameworks. Comfortable navigating complex technical challenges and leading teams to overcome them.
