Plant Engineer

Job Description:
- Use plant monitoring software to review cycle times of machinery, review and follow up machinery project's and installations
- Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other machinery problems
- Update program backups for machinery
- Program new installations of machinery and conveyor systems
- Reprogram machinery for engineering changes and improvements
Skills Required:
- Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls - Siemens and/or Indramat PL7
- Electrical Background (electrician or technician)
- Related experience
- Siemens and Indramat servo and VFD drives
- Familiarity with VFD's, Armor starts, encoders, network/Ethernet controls
- Ability to independently troubleshoot equipment and continuously evaluate equipment for improvement for quality and delivery
- ABB robot experience
- Microsoft office including excel, powerpoint, word, etc.
- Ability to read prints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics
- Ability to read blueprints
Experience Required:
- 2+ years of related controls and debug experience
Education Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
