About the Role:


We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Microsoft Training Specialist to join our team and collaborate with one of our Fortune 200 oil and gas clients in Houston, TX. As a key member of the training department, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients’ employees' productivity and proficiency in Microsoft 365, copilot, Azure, Office products, Power Apps, and Power Automate. Your expertise and customer-focused approach will enable them to maximize the potential of their workforce.


This position requires the candidate to travel frequently to our client's offices across the United States.


Responsibilities:

  • Microsoft 365 and Copilot Training: Develop comprehensive training programs that cover all aspects of Microsoft 365, including the upcoming copilot feature. Stay updated on the latest Microsoft technologies to incorporate them into the training materials.
  • Azure and Office Product Training: Design and deliver training sessions on Azure services and various Office products, empowering employees to make the most of these tools to enhance productivity.
  • Power Apps and Power Automate Expertise: Enable employees to leverage Power Apps and Power Automate effectively in their daily tasks by providing hands-on training and practical use cases.
  • Utilizing Teams for Productivity: Train employees on utilizing Microsoft Teams to optimize productivity, including effective collaboration, communication, and utilizing integrated features.
  • Customer-Facing Training: Conduct training sessions for small groups and provide personalized 1:1 training to employees. Additionally, schedule and coordinate group training sessions outside the classroom environment.
  • Power Automate Coding: Expertise in coding using Power Automate to create custom workflows and streamline business processes.
  • Specialization in Office 365: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Office 365 suite components and their integration to cater to diverse training needs.
  • Training Material Development: Respond to feedback from division managers and end-users to create customized and relevant training materials based on ongoing business requirements and user feedback.
  • Stay Informed: Remain up-to-date with Microsoft's latest developments and announcements, particularly with regard to copilot, to ensure training content aligns with the evolving scope of Microsoft products.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Certified Microsoft Certified Trainers strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Microsoft trainer, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Proficiency in coding with Power Automate.
  • Extensive knowledge of Office 365 and its various applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage training schedules, group sessions, and individual training requests.
  • Flexibility to travel as required to deliver training to various locations.
