The Opportunity:

You’ve evolved your skills into strategy through a long path of software development accomplishments and the curiosity to understand how all the pieces of an IT ecosystem fit together. As an Azure Solution Data Architect, you have a deep understanding of Azure’s infrastructure and services, proficiency in designing secure and scalable solutions, expertise in Azure identity and access management, and knowledge of Azure governance and compliance. This includes experience with designing and deploying microservices, web services using APIs, and DevOps methods and tools. You'll use your hands-on experience in implementing robust security measures, network architecture, and data protection strategies within the Azure ecosystem. You'll use your experience with software development cycles and communicate software solutions to clients.
You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with architecting, integrating, and developing software systems in Java and corresponding server-side technologies such as microservices, enterprise messaging, or web services.
- Experience with Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory (AD), Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, or Azure Databricks.
- Experience designing and deploying CI/CD pipelines using DevOps methods and tools, including Azure DevOps, Git Enterprise, Terraform, Jira, or Docker.
- Experience interacting with Cloud infrastructure providers, including Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Core Java, XML, XSD, ActiveMQ, JMS, Spring Framework, web services, messaging queues, and multi-threading.
- Experience with MS SQL server and writing complex SQL queries or stored procedures.
- Experience parsing large, complex XML files.
- Experience designing messaging architectures and development using technologies such as JMS, ActiveMQ, or MQ Series.
- Public Trust.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Knowledge of virtual networks, subnets, and configuring routing, and network security groups to establish a secure infrastructure.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

Work Model:
