This is a temporary position.
Reporting to the Director, DNAT Digital Operations, the Sr. Manager, Adobe Engineer, will fulfill Marriott’s digital objectives by leveraging Adobe’s Experience Cloud products: Target, Tags (formerly Adobe Launch) and Analytics, to implement code on M.com. Objectives include implementing and maintaining Adobe Target test campaigns (Primary) in support of the Digital Experiments Group, tracking user behavior on the web and app through link tracking and page-load data capture (Secondary), installing third-party marketing tags, creating new data pipes for transferring data to partners using Adobe’s Event-Handling service and trouble-shooting issues regarding analytics tracking and Adobe Target test campaigns. An ongoing migration from a page-level data layer-based web page to new page technologies ACDL and Web SDK will be supported.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business or IT, or equivalent education and related training
- Minimum of five years of development or IT support experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Working knowledge of above-code technology (i.e., Adobe Target primarily and Adobe Tags (formerly Launch)), ideally across multiple products in Adobe Experience Cloud (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Target, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge in JavaScript platforms, AJAX, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, and SQL
- Experience testing cross-browser compatibility and implementing UI/visual designs within ADA and security principles
- Familiarity with DOM/Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and Multimedia Content
- Proven experience dynamically interacting with the Browser DOM via JavaScript
- Experience with page-level data layer and proxy tools such as Chrome developer tools
- Must be able to troubleshoot scripting issues on digital platforms using browser’s console and other tools

- Demonstrating and Applying Discipline Knowledge: Deploy interactive, scheduled programs on owned channels; develop and deploy temporary code fixes across experience; collaborate with platform product to ensure stable releases, functional alignment, and appropriate unified release cycles; work closely with brand, loyalty, and marketing to plan and deploy new capabilities in an evolving platform; ensure personal availability to deploy hot fixes and maintain system up-time; deliver capabilities to modernize tech stack capabilities on owned channels.

The pay range for this position is $47.69 to $75.91 per hour.
Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive a minimum of 9 holidays annually.
