Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled IMS Software Developer to join our team and deliver innovative Manufacturing Systems solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in .NET development and a solid understanding of manufacturing environments. This role involves collaborating with a dynamic software engineering team to design, code, test, and implement high-quality software applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the software engineering team to deliver Manufacturing Systems solutions using custom-developed applications and configured products.
  • Quickly learn and apply new skills and technologies.
  • Create and execute unit tests to ensure code quality.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs.
  • Meet project milestones by delivering solutions in a timely manner.
  • Work effectively within various levels of project teams.


Requirements:

  • Experience:
  • 3+ years of .NET development experience (including .NET Core or C#).
  • Experience in IT systems within a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and the Angular framework.
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Analysis.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Manufacturing Systems Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with systems like Siemens Opcenter Ex or Camstar is a plus.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.


Work Environment:

  • Standard schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (Eastern Time).
  • 100% remote position, with a preference for candidates in Eastern or Central time zones. Candidates in Pacific or Mountain time zones must be willing to work Eastern hours.
