What you will do

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Engineer to join our team. As a .NET Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using the .NET framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, architect scalable solutions, and implement robust and efficient code.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality software solutions using the .NET framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Architect scalable and maintainable software solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and mentor junior team members.
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure proper testing and quality assurance of developed software.
  • Investigate and resolve software defects and issues, ensuring timely bug fixes and enhancements.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in .NET technologies, and propose new solutions and approaches to improve development processes and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand system requirements and provide technical guidance and support.
  • Participate in agile development methodologies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.


Requirements and technical skills

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in software development using the .NET framework, including C# and ASP.NET.
  • Proficiency in designing and developing web applications using frameworks like ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, or Blazor.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of database concepts and experience working with SQL and ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework).
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, including code versioning, testing methodologies, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software applications.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions within project timelines.
