Benefits Financial Analyst will be a client facing role and will work with both the sales and operations teams to provide assistance and support regarding new business inquiries. The Benefits Financial Analyst will manage the day to day activity to include gathering market data, pricing, etc. for potential new clients and prepare the RFP and PowerPoints to present to the team and prospective clients. Will market all lines of coverage to include medical, dental, vision, worksite and ancillary coverages for fully insured, self funded and level funded plans. This role is also responsible for spreadsheeting and comparing carrier proposals and presentations to include plan modeling.


To qualify for this role, you must possess the following:


  • MUST come from a benefits insurance broker or a general agency - dealbreaker - no other industries will be considered
  • 2+ years as a financial analyst or account manager
  • Must have experience with all lines of benefits to include medical, dental, vision, worksite and ancillary coverages
  • Experience with self funded and level funded plans is highly preferred - mid to large markets
  • Must have strong Excel skills to inclue formulas, pivot tables, v lookups, summing columns, formatting, importing and exporting information, charting/graphs, etc.
  • Must have experience working in carrier portals
  • Employee Navigator is a huge plus
