About the Associate Director of Digital Marketing role:

EF Adventures is seeking a self-driven and strategic Associate Director of Digital Marketing to lead and scale our digital marketing efforts. This role requires someone with a strong B2C digital marketing background, with strong e-commerce experience and a growth-oriented mindset to build and optimize digital strategies. Your contributions will directly support key business goals: growing brand awareness, expanding our customer database for nurturing, improving customer behavior insights, and ultimately driving revenue.

In this pivotal role, you will own the digital strategy across all channels, with a particular focus on scaling website performance, growing our database, and CRM initiatives. This role is critical in helping EF Adventures build an understanding of our “new customer” through a test-and-learn approach, supporting data-informed decisions that scale our business.

What you'll do:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that is focused on scaling customer acquisition, expanding the customer database, and driving revenue growth.
  2. Build and implement lead generation strategies to attract and convert new customers, growing the database for effective nurturing and retention.
  3. Identify opportunities to improve site functionality, user experience, and e-commerce merchandising to drive customer acquisition and revenue.
  4. Oversee CRM strategy, leveraging data analysis to optimize customer journeys across the funnel, focusing on segmentation, automation, and performance optimization.
  5. Set digital marketing KPIs and monitor team progress, ensuring digital marketing campaign and organizational objectives are met.
  6. Build a deeper understanding of EF Adventures’ customers through test and learn methodology and iterative improvements.
  7. Develop and implement lead form strategies to capture new customers effectively and support their journey through the sales funnel.
  8. Partner with the paid media team to identify areas of opportunity, drive scale, and enhance campaign performance.
  9. Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities to attract and convert customers, focusing on scalable solutions rather than incremental optimizations.
  10. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, analytics, and engineering teams, to ensure cohesive and aligned digital initiatives.
  11. Stay ahead of digital trends, technologies, and marketing best practices, incorporating innovative tools and platforms to drive effectiveness and efficiency.
  12. Champion a growth mindset, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.

Who you are:

  1. 7+ years of B2C digital marketing experience, with a focus on scaling customer acquisition and lead generation.
  2. Proven success in developing and executing CRM and database marketing strategies to grow and engage customer bases.
  3. Self-driven with demonstrated ability to take ownership, proactively identify opportunities, and drive initiatives to completion with minimal oversight.
  4. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Proven ability to analyze consumer behavior on websites and implement improvements that enhance performance and revenue.
  6. Experience collaborating with paid media teams to inform and enhance acquisition strategies.
  7. Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.
  8. Passion for staying informed about the latest in digital marketing trends and tools.
  9. A growth-oriented mindset with a commitment to scaling new products to success.
