Job SummaryThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents. As an LPN, you will be responsible for assessing residents, communicating with staff and physicians, and maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Assess residents' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
- Licensed Practical Nursing license in SD is required.
- Basic Life Support and Expanded Role certification is mandatory within six months of employment.
- Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare experience preferred.
The LPN will work night shifts, 72 hours every 2 weeks, with the following schedule:
- 6:00 pm - 6:30 am
- Every third weekend
- Every third holiday
- Occasional call time
The hourly range for this position is $22.75 - $31.50 per hour, dependent on experience.
