Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care and services at a correctional facility in Virginia.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide patient-centered care, adhering to standards of practice and care. This is a contract position with a 13-week assignment, requiring a clinical coverage type.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the screening, evaluation, and care of inmates under the supervision of a physician and/or registered nurse.
  • Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
  • Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment by maintaining stock of supplies and preparing rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, or supplies.
  • Coordinate with other medical and ancillary personnel to ensure continuity of care.
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' condition.
  • Provide appropriate nursing interventions in emergency situations.
  • Comply with all state requirements and facility policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Active Virginia license.
  • CPR Certification.
What We Offer:

A competitive pay rate of $26-$36 per hour, determined by the facility based on qualifications and experience.
