Our esteemed client in Bergen County, New Jersey is searching for an Identity and Access Management Analyst to join there organization. This individual serves as a technical subject matter expert, managing access management and support for all IT-administered systems. This role focuses on user entitlement reviews, identity governance, and ensuring access provisioning aligns with security best practices and regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for cybersecurity and access management, eager to contribute to a secure and efficient IT environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Access Management and Support:

  • Act as the technical SME for access management and support across IT systems.
  • Conduct security access reviews and certifications for applications and business roles.
  • Identify user, business, and functional requirements, scheduling entitlement reviews for all business applications.
  • Collaborate with management and business units, translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Documentation and Quality Control:

  • Ensure certifications and reviews are thorough, completed, and approved by the correct business owner.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for IAM processes, configurations, and incident response.
  • Assess risks from application changes, proposing and implementing suitable solutions.
  • Provide complete, accurate documentation for regulatory and audit purposes.

Strategy and Compliance:

  • Support the adoption of new technologies and platforms while ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Safeguard company data through compliance with cybersecurity procedures.
  • Identify, escalate, and remediate control gaps in a timely manner.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to support organizational objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field (preferred).
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Identity and Access Management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IAM tools and protocols such as Single Sign-On, LDAP, SAML, etc.
  • Experience developing and implementing Access Control Certification programs.
  • Knowledge of financial industry practices and security standards.
  • IAM or Security Certifications (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, with a balance of business and technical acumen.
  • Proven ability to foster strong working relationships across teams and departments.
