Day to Day Responsibilities:
Part of the SACM Operations team running CMDB request management. The team is in charge of care and feeding of CMDB, as well as Data Quality reporting and remediation for other teams, and ad hoc fixes/pulling data for MRAs/managing their own database. Candidates need to be willing to learn new things/technologies with A+++ soft skills. The team is not highly technical.
- Feed the CMDB from cube management requests to process updates, including CI's and product catalog entries. Doing this manually right now
- Data Quality Reporting and Remediation: Identify all requirements to figure out defects, their sources, and provide support through process controllers and managers for remediation.
- Data Validation
- SQL Translation: Translate basic SQL requirements for the data warehouse team.
- Conducting testing with MicroStrategy.
- Some team members have become DBAs with SQL Server - but that’s all self taught, not a need at all
- Remedy and Master Data Hub: Integrate attributes into the master data hub for PWC/auditors/3rd parties.
