Registered Nurse (RN) - Brain and Spine Institute Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Brain and Spine Institute team. About the Role: * Provide direct patient care to acutely and critically ill patients with brain, back, and central nervous system disorders * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans * Utilize advanced technology and equipment to provide high-quality patient care * Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in neuroscience What We Offer: * Competitive hourly rate: $46.50 per hour * Opportunities for career growth and advancement * Comprehensive benefits package, including free health insurance * Student Loan Repayment Program * Positive work environment with a focus on teamwork and compassion * Opportunities for continued growth, including serving as a nurse mentor and participating in unit and hospital-based committees Requirements: * Graduate of an approved nursing program in December 2024 * Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred * Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure * One year of acute inpatient experience preferred Work Schedule: * Hours: 7a-7:30p, 7p-7:30a * Hires into an immediate every 3rd weekend, every 3rd holiday rotation * Additional, elective incentive options include premiums for straight weekends and/or straight night agreements About Avera: * Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center is a Magnet Recognized hospital and the only Comprehensive Stroke Center in South Dakota and the wider region * We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and fostering a collaborative work environment * Our Brain and Spine Institute provides high-level specialty care to patients with brain, back, and central nervous system disorders
