SciPro has partnered with a AI focused Biotechnology company focused on developing life-changing therapies. This team is searching for a Principal Scientist, ADME. You will be collaborating with the Preclinical and Analytical Sciences group, to manage ADME lab operations and support small molecule drug discovery programs for cardiovascular indications. Your role includes guiding project teams, interpreting ADME/PK results, supervising junior scientists, and managing assay schedules. You will also oversee new technology initiatives, maintain data integrity, and collaborate with AI/ML teams to enhance in silico prediction platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Manage ADME assay platforms for the preclinical pipeline.
- Engage and manage external ADME/PK service providers.
- Mentor junior scientists and oversee analytical technologies.
- Implement new technologies and best practices for data integrity.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to develop prediction platforms.
- Recruit and train a versatile team.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. with 8+ years or BS/MS with 15+ years in drug discovery
- Extensive ADME experience from target assessment to drug development.
- Proficient in ADME assay automation and data practices.
- Hands-on experience with ADMET and physicochemical assays.
- Expertise in current ADME/PK approaches and techniques.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
