Job Title: Trademark Paralegal
Location: Downtown Los Angeles (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, no remote exceptions)
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Trademark Paralegal to join our legal team in Downtown Los Angeles. This is a full-time, permanent hybrid role, requiring at least 3 days per week in the office, with no exceptions for remote work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trademark law and possess the ability to manage trademark portfolios, conduct research, and support attorneys with various trademark-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with managing domestic and international trademark portfolios
- Conduct trademark searches, including clearance searches, and analyze results
- Prepare, file, and manage trademark applications, renewals, and oppositions
- Monitor and manage trademark deadlines and docketing
- Draft correspondence and legal documents related to trademark prosecution
- Conduct research on trademark laws and regulations
- Coordinate with outside counsel and foreign associates on trademark matters
- Provide general paralegal support, including managing files and organizing documents
- Assist with trademark enforcement and litigation as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a paralegal, with a strong emphasis on trademark law
- Proficiency with trademark management software and docketing systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be comfortable working in-office at least 3 days per week (Hybrid)
- No remote work exceptions
Education:
- Paralegal Certificate or equivalent required
