Job Title: Trademark Paralegal

Location: Downtown Los Angeles (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, no remote exceptions)

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Trademark Paralegal to join our legal team in Downtown Los Angeles. This is a full-time, permanent hybrid role, requiring at least 3 days per week in the office, with no exceptions for remote work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trademark law and possess the ability to manage trademark portfolios, conduct research, and support attorneys with various trademark-related matters.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with managing domestic and international trademark portfolios
  • Conduct trademark searches, including clearance searches, and analyze results
  • Prepare, file, and manage trademark applications, renewals, and oppositions
  • Monitor and manage trademark deadlines and docketing
  • Draft correspondence and legal documents related to trademark prosecution
  • Conduct research on trademark laws and regulations
  • Coordinate with outside counsel and foreign associates on trademark matters
  • Provide general paralegal support, including managing files and organizing documents
  • Assist with trademark enforcement and litigation as needed


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a paralegal, with a strong emphasis on trademark law
  • Proficiency with trademark management software and docketing systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be comfortable working in-office at least 3 days per week (Hybrid)
  • No remote work exceptions


Education:

  • Paralegal Certificate or equivalent required
