Overview:
Zeus Power Supplies, a leader in sourcing essential components for the power distribution industry, is seeking an experienced Data Center Infrastructure Consultant. This contract position will support our rapidly growing portfolio in the data center sector, particularly as we integrate more renewable energy solutions. As sourcing specialists, we focus on optimizing and implementing power system infrastructure, including transformer connections, within data centers to meet the expansive demands of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and design power system infrastructures for data centers to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Provide expert consultancy on integrating transformers and other critical components within data center environments.
- Assist in the planning and execution of power systems that incorporate renewable energy sources.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop innovative solutions that meet the specific needs of data center operations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed reports on system design and energy optimization.
- Offer guidance on current industry standards, compliance issues, and technological advancements.
- Facilitate training and development sessions for client teams on new systems and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in data center power infrastructure design and management.
- Strong understanding of transformers, high voltage systems, and renewable energy integrations.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and delivering solutions within budget and timelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
- Exceptional communication skills, with proficiency in articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability to travel as needed to client sites and other Zeus locations.
