Responsibilities:

  • Consult with business stakeholders to understand and evaluate current business processes and identify complex business problems and needs turning those needs into system requirements.
  • Define project scope and objectives, documenting business requirements, and creating use cases, and user stories
  • Perform cost-benefits and return on investment (ROI) analyses for proposed systems
  • Evaluate existing systems through gap analysis, developing viable alternative solutions by working closely with project partners to align designs that enable the achievement of strategic business outcomes
  • Assess system and error trends to identify and resolve defects in the production environment and provide recommendations to prevent future incidents
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and prepare user documentation for projects, system fixes and enhancements


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Experience with design thinking and prototyping
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of software design, development, debug and test practices
  • Life Insurance Industry experience
