Public Relations Specialist Temp LATAM & Caribbean


B V L G A R I is looking for a Public Relations Specialist Temp to join its Latin America & Caribbean team


Reporting to the Sr. Manager Public Relations LATAM & Caribbean, this position is based in the Miami regional office, located in Coral Gables, Florida.


Our new PR specialist will help manage the brand’s image and reputation across the region by building relationships with the media, coordinating product placements, and organizing high profile events. They will help in the development of strategies to increase brand visibility and work with internal teams to ensure messaging aligns with Bvlgari’s global vision while considering cultural nuances and market preferences.


Objectives:

  • Monitor editorial coverage and Public Relations activations results for jewelry, watches, accessories, and resort categories.
  • Maintain tracking document of press requests, pitches, and secured coverage.
  • Distribute approved press releases, materials and VIP dressing communications to local, regional, and HQ teams.
  • Maintain database of press materials, including press kits, images, and communication tools.
  • Compile and submit daily regional Best Clippings reports to HQ.
  • Assist in the logistics for press trips and photoshoots.

Key Accountabilities

  • KOL & VIP Management
  • Assist in the execution of KOL activations, monitoring activities, tracking results, and preparing post-activation reports.
  • Assist in the logistics for celebrity / KOL seedings and press trips.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Compile local coverage reports, verifying accuracy and following up on estimated values.
  • Track and analyze editorial coverage performance, investigating and submitting any missing coverage to the monitoring agencies.
  • Generate DMR and Influencity reports, analyzing digital influencer campaign performance and providing actionable insights.
  • Benchmark competitor activities related to press, imagery, and influencer initiatives.

Budget & Inventory

  • Conduct periodic regional PR gifting and PR set inventory, updating internal tracking system.
  • Track PR-related invoices and vendors creation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Maintain the regional editorial calendar.
  • Support the communications team in planning branding events.
  • Assist the PR Sr. Manager with communications for Travel Retail, Wholesale and Franchisees.
  • Monitor social media activities of commercial partner accounts to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
  • Maintain the regional database of press, influencer, and industry contacts.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a corporate environment. Luxury industry or PR agency experience is preferred.

• Languages: Spanish is preferred, Portuguese is a PLUS but not required.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and Canva.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Strong understanding of social media channels and emerging trends.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

• Passion for the luxury world.

• Flexibility to work outside of traditional business hours and travel as needed.
