Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (3 days onsite per week)


Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. The Infrastructure Engineer will ensure that all systems, applications, software, and hardware align with corporate policies and procedures, contributing to the stability and security of the organization’s infrastructure. This position involves hands-on technical expertise as well as the ability to manage and document infrastructure-related processes effectively.


Responsibilities:

  • Compliance & Maintenance: Ensure all systems, applications, software, and hardware adhere to corporate policy and procedures.
  • Issue Identification & Solution Development: Proactively identify infrastructure issues and collaborate to develop effective solutions.
  • Documentation & SOPs: Maintain and, as needed, lead the documentation of design, build processes, and standard operating procedures to support infrastructure management.
  • Project Management: Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and ensure milestones are met to facilitate smooth infrastructure enhancements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Application Development, Quality Assurance, Testing, and Business teams to understand infrastructure needs during planning, design, development, and testing.
  • Implementation & Optimization: Assist in implementing changes that improve infrastructure reliability, resiliency, and efficiency, including identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Production Support: Perform basic production support tasks and contribute to the overall objectives of related teams.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in On-Prem AD Administration and Microsoft Entra ID Administration.
  • Solid experience with Linux systems and configurations.
  • Strong automation skills to streamline and enhance infrastructure processes.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for tracking and documenting projects.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
