Trial Attorney

Los Angeles, United States Direct Counsel Full time

Direct Counsel has partnered with a highly reputable law firm located in Los Angeles, CA seeking a 5–10-year experienced litigation/trial attorney. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of solid litigation experience and have some trial experience. In addition to the fantastic work environment, this opportunity offers a highly competitive compensation package, with a lucrative base, bonuses, and full benefits.

Responsibilities:

  1. Draft pleadings, discovery, memoranda, motions and other legal documents
  2. Handle litigation matters from inception through trial, including taking depositions, attending mediations and settlement negotiations
  3. Make independent decisions and advising clients on pre-litigation and litigation matters
  4. Work with experts
  5. Conduct legal research
  6. Other projects, as assigned

Qualifications:

  1. Motivated with the desire to achieve top level results
  2. The ability to work well with a team as well as work well independently

Required Experience for the position:

  1. Must have a minimum of 5 plus years of solid experience in litigation in State courts
