Responsibilities
- Manage AP and AR Processes: Ensure timely billing and maintain sufficient cash flow.
- Develop Cash Flow Projections: Create reliable cash flow projections and reporting mechanisms, ensuring timely invoicing and vendor payments.
- Reduce overhead expenditures and oversee past-due account collections
- Improve the company’s accounting software for better estimating, traffic, P&L, revenue, and account summary reporting.
- Report monthly to managing partners, maintain stock ownership practices, direct annual audits, and ensure regulatory and tax compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA Certification a must.
- Experience managing or overseeing multiple retail locations or units.
- Extensive understanding of GAAP and associated financial reporting standards, encompassing inventory management, lease accounting, revenue recognition, financial statements, and budgeting
- Strong expertise in accounting and financial processes, including budgeting, monthly closures, and reporting
- Great Plains experience is a plus
- Occasional travel to NY
