The Medical Assistant will provide patient care services in the urgent care setting, meeting the specific needs of each patient with respect and dignity. Key responsibilities include supporting customer service, providing patient care in the back office, and working collaboratively with the medical team.

To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Complete a Medical Assistant Training Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools.
  • Complete an unapproved program and obtain certification from a certifying organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute.
  • Meet alternative criteria, including employment as a medical assistant for one year or more, direct supervision by physicians for 2000 hours, or completion of a United States Armed Forces medical services training program.
