Mechanical Reliability Engineer

Insight Global is hiring for a Mechanical Reliability Engineer for $35-$50 an hour in Danbury, CT.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Reliability Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of mechanical systems and equipment. This role involves analyzing equipment performance, identifying potential failures, and implementing strategies to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct reliability assessments and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) on mechanical systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement reliability improvement projects.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain reliability metrics and reports.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in mechanical reliability engineering.
- Strong knowledge of reliability engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in reliability analysis tools and software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in reliability engineering (e.g., CRE) is a plus.
