Essential Functions

  • Works with project management, vendors and internal staff to ensure that customers’ expectations are being met with highest level of quality and customer service.
  • Mentor, train, hire, coach and develop staff to ensure professional growth.
  • Determine essential priorities of customer projects and requests.
  • Maintain contact with current customers to ensure company has exceeded customer satisfaction.
  • Develop relationships with potential customers introducing products and services offered.
  • Grow relationships with current customers with introducing new products and services offered.
  • Attend trade shows and observe the markets for any new products being offered from foreign or domestic suppliers.
  • Develop proposals for customer projects to include pricing, labor, materials and equipment needs.
  • Work with the legal department on any contract negotiations with external customers to ensure a timely execution.
  • Out of town travel is required to address supplier and customer issues as well as develop new customer relationships.
  • Maintain and promote strong work ethics and uphold all policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • Must have prior experience (5-7 years) of project management and/or customer service experience in a contract manufacturing environment.
  • Must have previous supervisory experience and will lead a team of 2-4 project managers.
  • Ability to understand market trends, as well as experience in new customer development.
  • Requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business information, journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to write reports and findings and present to all levels of management in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills and corresponding experience.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, along with strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking and project management skills, along with ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining composure and respect for everyone.
  • Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information.
