Your Role:

As an Accounting/Payroll Specialist, you'll oversee payroll processing and contribute to the smooth operation of the organization. Our client is looking for a dependable professional who maintains confidentiality, has a keen eye for detail, and is flexible during key periods like Monday through Wednesday and year-end.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing high-volume, weekly union payroll for up to 130 employees across multiple projects nationwide
  • Processing manual layoff checks, garnishments, subsistence pay, and ensuring certified payroll accuracy
  • Leading payroll-related projects to ensure system efficiency and compliance

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience
  • Union/Construction payroll experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel for data management and calculations
  • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now preferred; experience with other payroll systems is a plus
  • Understanding of multi-state payroll complexities
