Director of Facilities

The King Kamehameha Golf Club and Kahili Golf Course are seeking a Director of Facilities to join their team. The Director of Facilities oversees all building and facility management for both facilities. This role requires professional, friendly interactions with vendors, government officials, and staff. The Director of Facilities is tasked with maintaining and enhancing the physical environment to meet the owner’s standards of cleanliness, safety, and aesthetics, creating a setting where members can enjoy memorable experiences with friends and family. The Director of Facilities will prepare and implement annual departmental capital, operational, and payroll budgets, ensuring the continued success and growth of The King Kamehameha Golf Club.
Both facilities are proudly managed by Troon Privé, the private club operating division of Troon.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and larger projects, including scheduling staff and managing project budgets.
- Ensure the safety and security of the premises, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Manage the facility’s budget to ensure all necessary costs are met.
- Coordinate emergency repairs to minimize damage and disruption.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Oversee contracts with external vendors, including cleaning, catering, and maintenance services.
- Schedule and manage daily janitorial services to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Assist in managing facility space to meet operational needs.
- Coordinate renovation projects.
- Serve as the point of contact for contractors and suppliers.
- Assist in the re-purposing and development of club facilities.
- Provide quality leadership and contribute to the positive atmosphere of the club’s operations.
- Ensure clean and safe facilities, fostering a welcoming environment for members and guests.
- Continuously pursue self-improvement, staying updated on maintenance trends, technology, and best practices.

Education and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Operations Management, or Supply Chain from an accredited institution, or at least seven years of relevant practical experience.
- Budgeting experience is required.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule based on business needs.
- Adherence to uniform and dress code standards.
