As a Supply Chain Director, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of supply chain operations.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve efficiency throughout the supply chain.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers/vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Accountable for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the shipping and receiving organization.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance supply chain processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals spanning from Buyers to Material Controllers. Provide guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to supply chain operations.
  • Carries out other projects as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management, or a closely related discipline.
  • 7-10 years progressive leadership experience in a Supply Chain Manufacturing environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of inventory control systems.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPI's) and analyzing trends to improve results
  • Demonstrated problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to influence and build consensus
  • APICS certification preferred.
  • Must be a United States Citizen or a United States Permanent Resident.
