Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Location: Remote (Must be within 25-30 miles of West Los Angeles, CA, for occasional onsite meetings)
Salary: $85,000 per year
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to provide remote and occasional onsite IT support, with a primary focus on macOS environments. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience, strong expertise in Mac systems, and familiarity with tools such as Zapier and Google Apps. This role requires someone based in the West Los Angeles area to ensure availability for urgent onsite needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote and occasional onsite IT support for macOS systems, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage user accounts, devices, and permissions within Google Workspace (Google Apps) and other business applications.
- Use Zapier or similar automation tools to streamline workflows and optimize IT operations.
- Assist with the deployment and maintenance of hardware and software across the organization.
- Monitor and manage IT assets, ensuring systems are updated and compliant with security standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical support requests, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement IT solutions that enhance productivity.
- Support video conferencing and communication tools as needed.
- Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for internal use.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional IT support experience, with a strong focus on macOS environments.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting macOS hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Experience working with Zapier, Google Apps (Google Workspace), and other SaaS tools.
- Strong understanding of IT fundamentals, including networking, system administration, and security best practices.
- Ability to provide clear, friendly, and effective support to both technical and non-technical users.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must reside within 25-30 miles of West Los Angeles for occasional onsite support; out-of-state candidates will not be considered.
