We are seeking an experienced freight broker to join our dynamic team here at First Star Logistics

As an experienced freight broker with us, you'll enjoy a commission structure that puts you in control, without any draw or hurdle system. This means you will receive your true commission plus salary week to week. In addition, we distinguish ourselves from other logistics companies because we will pay you your commission up front (no 30-60 day wait) making sure there are no delays to you receiving what you work hard for.

Once you start to build your book of business up as a Broker here and become successful, you are able to become a direct partner with First Star Logistics as an Agent and earn up to 70% commissions.

You are in charge of your own destiny here at First Star Logistics

Work Location:
  • In person
    Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods for clients
    • Cold call new prospects on a daily basis to achieve new business
    • Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and shippers
    • Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, shippers, and customers
    • Track shipments and provide updates to clients
    • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and industry standards
    • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns
    • Utilize transportation management systems for data entry and record keeping
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient transportation operations
